Sustainability is not an empty slogan for Rick Volkers. Volkers is the first pre-press company in the Netherlands to gain a TQM 9000 certificate and the ISO 9002 label. Volkers has been preoccupied for many years with optimising processes and machinery while always bearing in mind the need for sustainability. We really want to look after the environment.
But our involvement with the environment and our world goes further than that. Volkers has supported The Hunger Project since 2009. The Hunger Project supports people in creating a future without hunger by mobilising their own potential.
The Hunger Project wants to see a world without chronic hunger! How? By investing in people. By making people more resilient and by stimulating them to build their own future. The Hunger Project’s approach is built on three foundations.
