Image carriers are key to quality
Packaging design must be left to specialized agencies. Designing packaging translations is an entirely different discipline again. Most design agencies are less well suited to this branch of sports. It is a matter of designing a box analogous to an existing bag, translating a 4 ml bottle to a 9 ml one, a single pack to secondary packaging. The printing on all (yes, all) packaging types must meet the same preconditions. Our operators recognize visual brand values and have been trained to serially translate them in the same way.
Artwork creation
By ‘artwork creation’ Volkers means merging die cutting and/or plan drawings, logos, images and marketing as well as legal information into one complete packaging image. In this phase we are already taking into account which printing technique will be used. The artwork is laid out in such a way that the number of colours and colour changes is kept to a minimum. As a Packaging Management Agency, Volkers wishes to offer added value in the entire packaging route. Our accounts receive a PDF proof file or a printer’s proof to check optimal execution.
